Salary: $140,000 – $190,000

What you will do

• Perform statewide and segmented actuarial pricing indications to ensure rate adequacy.
• Build and deploy tools using Generative AI to automate pricing workflows.
• Develop pricing methodologies by incorporating loss trends, reinsurance costs, and CAT modeling outputs.
• Prepare actuarial support for rate filings and respond to regulatory inquiries.
• Collaborate with product and technology teams to improve data quality and modernize pricing pipelines.
• Lead class plan builds and pricing support for state launches.

Requirements

• FCAS or Career ACAS designation required
• 5+ years of actuarial experience in personal lines pricing
• Hands-on experience using SQL and Python or R for data analysis
• Proficiency in Excel for advanced modeling
• Must be able to live and work full-time in an authorized US state or Ontario, Canada

Nice to have

• Direct experience with Florida, Texas, or California property insurance
• Experience with Git/GitHub in a collaborative team setting
• Predictive modeling experience, particularly loss cost modeling
• Experience in an insurtech or high-growth environment
