What you will do

• Create detailed electrical wiring, panel, and layout drawings using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Interpret customer specifications and ensure designs comply with NEC, UL, and ANSI standards.
• Develop and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) and coordinate releases to the ERP system.
• Provide technical documentation and support to purchasing and procurement teams.
• Assist production teams during equipment manufacturing by resolving design and drawing issues.
• Support prototype builds, testing, and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

• Must be able to work 5 days a week in the Alpharetta, GA office.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or significant practical experience).
• Working knowledge of CAD software for product design and drafting.
• Understanding of electrical control systems and industrial design standards.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (Visa sponsorship is not available).
• Strong analytical and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical for control panel design.
• Knowledge of UL 508A standards and utility power distribution.
• Familiarity with generator controls and industrial communication protocols.
