What you will do

• Design and develop data-plane services and data management systems for cloud-scale distributed systems.
• Lead software features through the full lifecycle, from architecture and implementation to production support.
• Build secure, production-quality backend services and RESTful APIs using Go and Python.
• Implement cloud-native architectures using Kubernetes, containers, and modern CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions across storage, networking, and security.
• Conduct root cause analysis for complex production issues to implement long-term scalability improvements.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in San Jose, California (Hybrid).
• 4-8 years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years specializing in data management or storage platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Go for backend services and Python for automation and CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, container technologies, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Proven track record of designing and delivering complex distributed systems in large-scale production environments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with C/C++, C#, React, or TypeScript.
