Salary: $180,000 - $210,000 (OTE)

What you will do
- Design and develop data-plane services and data management systems for cloud-scale distributed systems.
- Lead software features through the full lifecycle, from architecture and implementation to production support.
- Build secure, production-quality backend services and RESTful APIs using Go and Python.
- Implement cloud-native architectures using Kubernetes, containers, and modern CI/CD practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions across storage, networking, and security.
- Conduct root cause analysis for complex production issues to implement long-term scalability improvements.
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to work in San Jose, California (Hybrid).
- 4-8 years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years specializing in data management or storage platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Go for backend services and Python for automation and CI/CD.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, container technologies, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Proven track record of designing and delivering complex distributed systems in large-scale production environments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

- Familiarity with C/C++, C#, React, or TypeScript.
