HR Manager: Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes for field and corporate workforces in Mexico with an accent on Mexico labor law compliance, workers’ compensation case management, and improving HR systems and workflows. Focus on building employee-centric HR operations while partnering cross-functionally to ensure a safe, compliant, and positive work environment.

What you will do

  • Own the full employee lifecycle in Mexico: onboarding, offboarding, performance management, salary changes, leave of absences, and permissions in line with Mexico’s Federal Labor Law.
  • Advise managers and employees on workplace issues, policy interpretation, performance matters, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Manage Workers’ Compensation claims from incident reporting through return-to-work coordination, partnering with local payroll representatives, legal teams, and insurance providers.
  • Maintain compliance with Mexico employment law, including training, workplace operations, classifications, wage laws, and benefits.
  • Lead HR across benefits, compliance, and people programs while partnering with Operations, Finance, IT, Legal, and Compliance to improve efficiency and simplify workflows.
  • Coordinate with an on-site Employer of Record (EOR) by understanding operational boundaries and collaborating effectively.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of HR Generalist or HR Manager experience supporting both hourly/field and professional/office workforces.
  • Strong knowledge of Mexico employment laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of Mexico benefits and payroll processes.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize effectively, and handle high-volume operational HR needs.
  • Excellent judgment and discretion with confidential information.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in a distribution center or manufacturing environment.
