Focus on evolving GitLab CI/CD pipelines, implementing robust observability, and managing safe rollout strategies like blue/green and canary.

Location: Remote (Worldwide). Relocation support is available to hubs in Cyprus, Georgia, Spain, Serbia, or Kazakhstan.

What you will do

• Design for high availability, performance, and scale, while defining SLIs/SLOs for the product team.
• Manage the release lifecycle using Helm, ensuring safe rollouts (blue/green, canary) and optimized resource scaling.
• Build and harden GitLab CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, security scanning, and progressive delivery.
• Maintain and improve end-to-end observability using Prometheus/VM and ELK.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis (RCA) to deliver reliability improvements.
• Support infrastructure requests including migrations, connectivity schemas, and load testing.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or production engineering for web services.
• Strong understanding of multi-component system architecture, including load balancing and fault tolerance.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
• Expertise in GitLab CI/CD pipelines, templates, and containerization.
• Experience with observability tools (Prometheus/VM, ELK) and SLI/SLO thinking.
• English: B1 level or higher required for effective communication with an international team.

Nice to have

• Strong knowledge of databases, key-value stores, and Kafka.
