What you will do

• Generate and execute technical solutions for new vehicle programs.
• Provide technical leadership for advanced component and technology development.
• Perform complex design analysis and evaluate engineering designs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, purchasing, and quality teams.
• Balance business imperatives including cost, mass, complexity, and timing.
• Ensure component and subsystem integrity and compliance with technical standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Technology, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role in Warren, Michigan.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in engineering or advanced degree.
• Proven knowledge of Body or Chassis structure design.
• Experience with DFMEA and GD&T.
• Knowledge of high-strength alloy materials, welding, and fastening systems.
• Familiarity with Vehicle Dynamics and FMVSS crash regulations.
