Hiring for a Senior Accounting Manager role at a fast-growing plumbing and home services company in the United States.

What you will do

• Own the month-end close process across multiple business entities and locations.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and supporting schedules, including P&L reporting by business unit.
• Manage general ledger accuracy and perform/review reconciliations (bank, credit card, and balance sheet tie-outs).
• Oversee accounts receivable aging and support payroll and labor cost analysis across multiple locations.
• Execute audit procedures, prepare audit schedules, and strengthen internal controls and accounting policies to stay audit-ready.
• Analyze financial data and improve accounting processes to support growth and leadership reporting needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with proven ownership of the full month-end close process.
• Experience in multi-location or multi-entity accounting environments.
• Expert-level QuickBooks Online proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience preparing financial statements and P&L reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong experience with reconciliations, accounts receivable, and payroll analysis.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and communicate financial information clearly.

Nice to have

• CPA (or equivalent) qualification.
• 2–4 years of public accounting or external audit experience.
• Experience strengthening accounting controls and processes in private equity-backed or high-growth organizations.
• Industry experience in home services, plumbing, HVAC, construction, or field services.
