What you will do

• Own the embedded deployment and performance of on-device ML inference for outdoor monitoring workloads.
• Optimize end-to-end inference performance across CPU, DSP, NPU, and GPU architectures.
• Perform kernel and operator-level optimizations including vectorization and memory layout tuning.
• Integrate and maintain ML models within embedded C/C++ pipelines with robust error handling.
• Drive quantization strategies and deployment readiness for production hardware.
• Provide Staff-level leadership by setting performance standards, mentoring engineers, and influencing the platform roadmap.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in embedded systems and performance engineering.
• Strong C/C++ expertise with deep knowledge of low-level performance and CPU architecture.
• Demonstrated experience optimizing ML inference on embedded targets.
• Familiarity with modern vision model families such as YOLO, DEIM, or RT-DETR.
• Experience with on-device inference runtimes like TFLite, ONNX Runtime, or TensorRT.
• Strong debugging and profiling skills to drive performance investigations to closure.
