What you will do

• Lead the development of HVAC, black utility (chilled water, steam), plumbing, and compressed gas system philosophies.
• Own equipment modules and packages through design and procurement phases, including FATs and design reviews.
• Develop technical specifications, P&IDs, utility consumption summaries, and temperature/humidity control calculations.
• Interface with clients, vendors, and internal disciplines to ensure project delivery within budget and schedule.
• Perform construction assistance via submittal reviews, RFI responses, and field visits.
• Mentor and develop less experienced mechanical engineering team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7+ years of design experience in a design firm setting.
• Experience in Life Science sectors (Pharmaceutical, Biopharmaceutical, Cell & Gene Therapy).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Ability to develop Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Must be based in or able to work hybridly in Conshohocken, PA.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineering (PE) licensure.
• Knowledge of GMP Manufacturing environments.
• Experience with Energy Modeling using HAP software.
