What you will do

• Define and develop innovative power electronics architectures and technology roadmaps.
• Create simulation models and preliminary designs for space-grade power systems.
• Provide technical support for tenders, cost estimation, and stakeholder presentations.
• Conduct schematic, design, and PCB layout reviews ensuring compliance with EMC/EMI and reliability standards.
• Manage verification, validation, and component selection processes.
• Lead anomaly investigations and root-cause analyses in collaboration with project teams.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Must be based in or able to work from Bremen, Germany.
• Proven experience in power electronics design, ideally within aerospace or high-reliability industries.
• Strong expertise in analog/digital electronics, magnetics, control systems, and stability analysis.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and schematic capture tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of ECSS standards and radiation-tolerant design.
• Experience with FPGA-based power management systems.
• Familiarity with hardware qualification and environmental testing.
