What you will do
- Take ownership of the operational lifecycle of business-critical Finance ERP applications to ensure reliability and maintainability.
- Drive incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
- Manage L1/L2 application operations and collaborate with consultants and developers on L3 topics.
- Support operational readiness and validate new changes and enhancements.
- Identify recurring issues and implement sustainable improvements for operational excellence.
- Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience supporting or managing Finance business processes within an ERP or enterprise application environment.
- Strong understanding of application lifecycle and IT service management (ITSM) principles (ITIL is an advantage).
- Analytical mindset capable of identifying root causes and driving long-term improvements.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Must be based in or able to work from Cologne, Germany, for hybrid anchor days.
Nice to have
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 or Dynamics 365.
- Proficiency in German.
- Interest in leveraging AI and automation to improve support processes.
