What you will do

• Act as the primary contact for all process-related matters within the project team.
• Prepare equipment designs, P&IDs, engineering lists, and functional descriptions for control systems.
• Conduct process engineering risk analyses, including hazardous operation studies.
• Review process engineering during commissioning and trial operations.
• Ensure project implementation aligns with HZI policies, guidelines, and basic concepts.
• Maintain engineering standards and documentation, including Comos guidelines.

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical, chemical, or process engineering (Bachelor/Master, FH/TH).
• Fluent in English.
• Experience in a similar role with knowledge of process engineering and plant automation.
• Proficiency in CAE and engineering tools, specifically Comos.
• Ability to work independently and detail-oriented.
• Willingness to travel (approximately 10% of the time) for on-site support.

Nice to have

• Experience in flue gas treatment or Balance of Plant.
• Proficiency in German or other languages.
