Process Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Develop and update block flow diagrams, process flow diagrams, and P&ID documentation.
• Prepare technical specifications and datasheets for key process equipment and review supplier proposals.
• Coordinate technical topics with mechanical, piping, instrumentation, electrical, and operations teams.
• Support commissioning, installation, startup, and acceptance testing of process lines.
• Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and implement process optimization initiatives.
• Ensure the quality and completeness of engineering documentation for procurement and construction.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Chemical, Process, Mechanical, or Metallurgical Engineering, or Materials Science.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in process engineering, plant design, or operational engineering.
• Practical experience with reactors, heat exchangers, filters, separators, and gas handling systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Navisworks, and MS Office (advanced Excel).
• English: B2 minimum proficiency for technical documentation and communication.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work from Leudelange, Luxembourg.

Nice to have

• Experience in petrochemical, carbon materials, or high-temperature process industries.
• Knowledge of international engineering standards such as ASME, API, ISO, or EN.
• Experience participating in HAZOP, design reviews, or technical risk assessments.
• Proficiency in Russian, French, or German.
