TL;DR
Senior Consultant VMware Cloud Foundation Automation Engineer (VMware): Designing, deploying, and automating VMware Cloud Foundation environments with an accent on VCF Automation and lifecycle operations. Focus on building repeatable deployment workflows, optimizing software-defined infrastructure, and integrating vSphere, vSAN, and NSX architectures.
Location: Remote in the Contiguous United States; must be able to travel up to 25%

What you will do
- Deploy and configure VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) management and workload domains.
- Design and implement VCF automation workflows to enable repeatable and scalable deployments.
- Provide architecture and technical leadership for Software Defined Infrastructure solutions.
- Support clients through audit, consulting, implementation, and training for digital transformation.
- Assess and validate hybrid cloud platform solutions for functionality, availability, and performance.
- Collaborate with enterprise solution partners to drive innovation in data center technologies.
Requirements
- Must be based in the Contiguous United States.
- At least 10 years of experience architecting and implementing data center solutions.
- Expert-level proficiency in the complete VCF stack (vSphere, vSAN, NSX).
- Proficiency in infrastructure automation and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible).
- Relevant certifications: VCP, VCAP, VCDX, or VMware Knight (Broadcom VMware Knight highly desired).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent consulting experience.
