What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Onboarding Calculations Team.
• Manage the delivery of Defined Benefit pension claims from quotation through to settlement.
• Oversee complex manual calculations, quotations, letters, and statements.
• Manage risk controls, process documentation, and audit trails across the retirement claims process.
• Apply Consumer Duty principles to ensure positive outcomes for all customers, including vulnerable individuals.
• Identify and implement improvements to process efficiency and service quality.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Defined Benefit pension schemes and their administration.
• Experience managing teams focused on manual pension benefit calculations.
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of coaching and developing staff.
• Knowledge of operational risk, Data Protection, Money Laundering, and regulatory requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity from the Glasgow office.
• Willingness to obtain CII CF1, FA2 and Overseer status within the role.
