What you will do

• Lead all aspects of Life tax compliance and reporting within a controlled environment.
• Act as a trusted adviser to the Life business on strategic initiatives, transactions, and regulatory changes.
• Manage key relationships with HMRC, auditors, and senior stakeholders across Finance and Risk.
• Contribute to the Group’s wider tax strategy and control framework.
• Build and lead a high-performing team, driving capability development and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in Life and insurance taxation with strong technical and judgment skills.
• Proven experience leading teams and working with senior stakeholders in complex organizations.
• Commercially minded with the ability to translate technical issues into clear business advice.
• Strong focus on governance, risk management, and delivery.
