What you will do
- Lead the end-to-end review of customer fee charging and interest processes.
- Map activities, systems, risks, and controls to document the current environment.
- Assess the design effectiveness of existing controls in collaboration with the Internal Controls team.
- Identify control gaps, weaknesses, and inconsistencies in current workflows.
- Develop a prioritized action plan with practical recommendations for governance and audit readiness.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to drive progress and influence change.
Requirements
- Must be based in the UK and able to work from the London or Manchester office.
- Proven experience in operational controls, risk management, or internal audit within financial services.
- Strong proficiency in process mapping and understanding of control frameworks like COSO or ISO 31000.
- Excellent analytical and documentation skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Nice to have
- Experience with Power BI.
- Knowledge of investment platforms, pensions, or revenue assurance.
- Experience with workflow documentation tools.
