What you will do

• Design, implement, and manage internal control frameworks across the entire CFO function.
• Continuously monitor Finance & Legal processes to drive efficiencies and control automation.
• Ensure compliance with operational risk frameworks and lead Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA).
• Conduct periodic review and testing of Finance End User Computing (EUCs).
• Collaborate with first/second lines of defense and external/internal auditors during reviews.
• Prepare and present risk and control reports to senior management and Board committees.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant with post-qualification experience in audit, risk, or compliance.
• Professional background in a Top 6 accounting firm or a regulated financial services business.
• Proven track record in assessing the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls.
• Strong stakeholder management and project management skills.
• Must have the right to work in the UK and be able to work from the London office.

Nice to have

• Experience working within a US SOx control environment.
• Knowledge of bank regulatory (PRA/FCA) reporting and compliance requirements.
