What you will do

• Independently negotiate and execute high volumes of pre-M&A contracts including NDAs, NRLs, joinders, and engagement letters.
• Act as the primary day-to-day contact for sophisticated investment fund and asset manager clients.
• Maintain and evolve client-specific contract playbooks to ensure quality and consistency.
• Mentor junior lawyers and paralegals while fostering a high-performing team culture.
• Utilize and improve legal technology suites like hirify.global Ava and HighQ to increase operational efficiency.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle from initial review through execution and system logging.

Requirements

• Qualified to practice law in the UK, Europe, US, or Canada.
• Minimum 3+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
• Proven track record of negotiating pre-M&A contracts in a financial services legal environment.
• Strong ability to balance legal risk against commercial business objectives.
• Proficiency with AI-backed contract review tools and CLM systems.
• Excellent communication skills for building trusted advisor relationships with sophisticated clients.
