Salary: PLN 24,000 – 28,000 gross per month

What you will do

• Build and optimize cloud-native data pipelines on AWS (ETL/ELT) using AI tooling as a standard workflow.
• Design and evolve data models powering analytics, operational use cases, and AI/ML.
• Establish data reliability through governance, testing, and lineage.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to transform business problems into robust data solutions.
• Evaluate and implement emerging approaches, including data mesh patterns and new AI tools.
• Support financial and regulatory reporting workstreams for Finion Capital.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on data warehousing.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data work.
• Hands-on experience with dbt on a cloud warehouse.
• Working knowledge of relational and exposure to non-relational databases (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB).
• Ability to critically review and validate AI-generated outputs for correctness.
• English: Excellent written and verbal proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS services (Redshift, EMR, Glue, S3, IAM), GCP, or Azure.
• Knowledge of Streaming/CDC technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, Debezium) or data mesh.
• Experience building data pipelines specifically for ML or AI systems.
• Exposure to financial, payments, or regulated reporting data.
• German language skills.
