Analytics Engineer

TL;DR

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data models for analytical and business use cases.
• Assess the current “as is” state of models and analytical needs, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Define and promote best practices for data modeling, documentation, data quality, and governance across teams.
• Translate business requirements into reusable, well-structured, governed data models and templates.
• Support teams with tools and workflows such as Dataform, BigQuery, Git, and CI/CD; run code/design reviews.
• Enable data consumption via BI tools and support self-service analytics initiatives.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Analytics, or similar roles.
• Proficiency in SQL and BigQuery.
• Experience with Dataform or similar data modeling frameworks (e.g., dbt).
• Strong data modeling fundamentals (dimensional modeling, data marts, metrics definition).
• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker) and proficiency in Python for data analysis/exploration.
• Spanish: fluency (team language) and intermediate English for documentation and international collaboration.
