TL;DR
Head of Product Operations (Product Operations): Build and run the operating system that enables the product organization to plan, decide, and ship with clarity, speed, and accountability, with an accent on governance mechanisms, operating metrics, and release management workflows. Focus on improving decision quality and cross-functional coordination across a complex product organization, while embedding AI-augmented workflows into operating rituals and tooling.
Location: San Francisco or Vancouver office (office-centric hybrid schedule; in-office days Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; work from home on Wednesdays; Fridays depend on work and partner teams)
Salary: $200,000 - $250,000 CAD (estimated base salary range)

What you will do
- Own the product operating model, including planning cadences, quarterly/annual planning, portfolio governance, decision logs, and accountability mechanisms.
- Build and run release management as a core Product Operations function, ensuring product information is accurate and current for customer-facing teams.
- Define and maintain standards for capturing, reviewing, and distributing product truth internally to reduce ambiguity and operational friction.
- Define and track operating metrics for product organization health (planning quality, roadmap predictability, decision velocity, launch readiness, execution follow-through).
- Evolve the engagement model between Product/R&D and cross-functional partners, coordinating launch readiness, dependencies, and decision rights.
- Collect, normalize, and route customer/field signals into product planning and tradeoff discussions; improve tooling, rituals, templates, and workflow design with AI-augmented practices.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in product operations, product management, strategy and operations, or a related discipline.
- Meaningful experience building operating systems in a complex product organization.
- Deep expertise in planning systems, governance design, operating cadences, metrics, and cross-functional coordination.
- Strong judgment on where product decisions belong versus where operational systems and governance should sit; ability to influence senior leaders.
- Strong analytical and executive communication skills to turn ambiguity into recommendations, operating mechanisms, and actionable dashboards.
- Ability to work from the San Francisco or Vancouver office on an office-centric hybrid schedule (Mon/Tue/Thu in office; WFH on Wednesdays; Fridays depend on team/work type).
