PRT - Transitions Director (Defined Benefits)

What you will do

• Provide technical expertise across legal, regulatory, reinsurance, product development, and operational matters.
• Own tailored servicing responses for RFQs and support new business opportunities.
• Lead client and customer servicing content for pitches and final presentations.
• Assess prospective clients, de-risking plans, and scheme-specific onboarding needs.
• Manage end-to-end implementation activity for large and complex pension risk transfer transactions.
• Produce governance documentation and management information, complete post-implementation reviews, and support capability development across the team.

Requirements

• Hybrid work in Hove, United Kingdom, with flexibility between home and the office.
• Pensions qualification, such as PMI, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong experience administering, transitioning, or onboarding Defined Benefit pension schemes.
• In-depth knowledge of Pension Risk Transfer, including buy-ins and buy-outs.
• Strong understanding of DB pension regulations, wind-up requirements, customer impacts, and complex data or benefit calculations.
• Experience presenting to Trustees, Advisers, and senior external stakeholders, with strong project management and communication skills.

• Project management qualification such as PRINCE2.
