What you will do
- Manage and maintain the client domain project portfolio: status, timelines, risks, dependencies, budget indicators, and key decisions.
- Run portfolio governance (weekly reviews, monthly check-ins, executive reporting) and consolidate inputs from multiple teams.
- Lead cross-team initiatives across the client domain and omnichannel macro-domain, integrating Waterfall requirements into Agile delivery cadences.
- Build and maintain detailed project plans (business, functional, technical, architecture, development, integration, testing, deployment, change management).
- Coordinate technical delivery with solution architects and technical leads; track technical activities across teams and challenge unclear plans or missing ownership.
- Support UAT, release preparation, deployment readiness, CAB preparation, and post-golive follow-up when applicable.
Requirements
- Location: Applicants must be from the provinces of Ontario and Québec.
- Time zone: Availability in the New York City time zone is mandatory. Remote candidates must fully operate on NYC working hours.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, Technical Project Manager, or PMO in a complex IT environment.
- Strong experience managing project portfolios and cross-functional technology initiatives.
- Ability to work in a hybrid delivery model combining Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong technical understanding and ability to work closely with architects and technical teams; experience tracking dependencies, risks, milestones, and delivery commitments.
Nice to have
- Salesforce ecosystem knowledge (Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, CRM, or clienteling-related platforms).
- Experience in retail, luxury, omnichannel, CRM/clienteling, eCommerce, or data-related domains.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, or Excel.
- Experience with release management, CAB processes, UAT coordination, and production deployment planning.
- Experience working with external vendors and system integrators.
