Compensation: $5,377.61–$6,308.19 CAD Monthly

What you will do

  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for multi-site influenza surveillance and vaccine effectiveness monitoring.
  • Design systems for project data analysis and operational outcomes, communicating findings to network stakeholders.
  • Coordinate research ethics board applications and manage information sharing agreements across multiple sites.
  • Oversee pilot site activities, including participant eligibility, consent, and secure specimen collection and tracking.
  • Draft progress reports, conference presentations, and manuscripts to advance pandemic preparedness evidence.
  • Ensure compliance with FIPPA, hirify.global privacy policies, and data governance standards for personal health information.

Requirements

  • University degree in a relevant discipline with at least four years of related experience.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex terminology for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience coordinating multi-site research and managing complex procedures and protocols.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data management software like REDCap.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure with multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Canadian clinical health services data, emergency medicine settings, or laboratory workflows.

Nice to have

  • Masters degree in epidemiology, health administration, or public health.
  • Experience with mixed-methods research and evaluation.
  • Experience with NVivo software.
  • Project management training or certification.
