What you will do

  • Lead statistical analysis of survey data concerning technology-facilitated sexual exploitation and abuse.
  • Support the quantitative research design for the inception phase of a new longitudinal research project.
  • Integrate and analyze mixed-methods data in collaboration with the research team.
  • Draft research reports, policy briefs, and journal articles for global dissemination.
  • Contribute to strategic dialogues within hirify.global regarding digital engagement and protection.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or equivalent degree in Sociology, Psychology, Public Health, Epidemiology, Social Science, or Statistics.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in research, child protection, or digital safety.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Strong skills in R, Stata, SEM, and statistical software.
  • Experience in quantitative and qualitative research and mixed-method analysis.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish).
  • Experience with NVivo, MaxQDA, or datasets like Global Kids Online and Disrupting Harm.
  • Experience in developing countries or humanitarian contexts.
