What you will do

• Lead Java development teams building, enhancing, and supporting enterprise-scale WMS applications and warehouse automation solutions.
• Drive architecture and development of Java-based WMS platforms using Spring, REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven integrations.
• Design integrations between WMS, TMS, ERP, OMS, automation systems, and third-party applications.
• Oversee software delivery across Agile sprints and release cycles, including technical design, code reviews, standards, and performance optimization.
• Design real-time and batch interfaces and data-enrichment pipelines using cloud-native data platforms.
• Troubleshoot production issues, guide SDLC activities, and collaborate with IT leadership and business partners on cloud-platform features.

Requirements

• 12+ years of hands-on Java application development experience building enterprise-scale applications with Java, Spring MVC/Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, SQL Server, Web Services, Git/GitHub, and modern software design principles.
• 5+ years leading software development teams and delivering complex enterprise applications through Agile methodologies and SDLC practices; the posting also states 7 and 9 years of lead development experience.
• 3+ years of WMS development experience, including customization, configuration, integrations, warehouse automation, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
• Expertise in distributed systems, microservices, API integrations, event-driven solutions, and high-volume transaction processing.
• 3+ years of experience with WebSphere, IBM MQ, Drools, Azure Kubernetes Service, and enterprise integration technologies.
• Strong Azure knowledge, including Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Kubernetes, containerization, cloud-native development, and cloud solutions; 5+ years of cloud solution experience is stated.
• Experience with legacy-platform modernization, cloud migration, WMS/ERP/OMS integrations, systems analysis, application architecture, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and supply chain or warehouse operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with programming and data languages such as Java, Python, SQL, .NET, APIs, or databases; familiarity with NoSQL databases such as CosmosDB.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, research, communication, stakeholder-management, multitasking, and reprioritization skills.
