What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair roof leaks using recognized techniques for shingles, membranes, and tiles.
• Install and replace caulking materials to seal expansion joints, flashings, and frames.
• Conduct roof inspections and provide detailed repair or replacement recommendations.
• Prepare cost estimates for roofing projects and communicate effectively with customers.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes.
• Provide training and oversight to apprentices and labourers as required.

Requirements

• Trade certification to journeyperson level as a Roofer.
• Valid BC Driver’s license.
• Minimum five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of industrial safety regulations and building codes.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
