Non-Ferrous Receiver Labourer

Location: Victoriaville, Quebec, Canada; on-site work at a recycling facility, primarily indoors with occasional outdoor tasks.

What you will do

• Welcome customers and follow established receiving procedures.
• Unload, sort, identify, weigh, and classify non-ferrous metals.
• Enter material information into the system and prepare incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely.
• Perform basic equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Maintain clean work areas and follow required PPE and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Comfort with manual, physical work in an industrial environment.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors as operational needs require.
• Responsible, punctual, resourceful, and safety-conscious approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Industrial experience, forklift or equipment operation, and knowledge of different metals are assets.
