Senior Frontend Engineer (Access Control)

Location: Must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week in San Mateo, CA

Salary: $160,000 - $280,000 USD

What you will do

• Develop and maintain high-quality frontend interfaces for cloud-managed access control systems.
• Collaborate with firmware and backend engineers to build integrated product features.
• Drive product development from initial concept to final delivery.
• Ensure high performance, cross-browser compatibility, and polished user experiences.
• Debug complex issues across the frontend stack and integrated systems.

Requirements

• 7+ years of industry software engineering experience
• Mastery of JavaScript including scoping, closures, and prototypes
• Expert-level proficiency with React
• Strong architectural understanding of custom UI components
• Working knowledge of server-side frameworks and database systems
• Must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week
