Salary: $170,000 - $200,000

What you will do

• Lead architectural design and modernization of legacy systems, prioritizing business value and scalability.
• Evaluate and implement SaaS, low-code/no-code, and Gen AI platforms to accelerate delivery cycles.
• Collaborate with business, product, and technology leaders to align technical solutions with strategic goals.
• Set the technical vision and establish engineering practices and standards for the organization.
• Mentor and inspire engineers to foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven expertise in cloud-native architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP), serverless, and event-driven design.
• Demonstrated ability to lead engineering efforts and influence cross-functional teams.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems and integrating them with modern platforms.
• Must be based in or able to work from the New York office (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Full-stack experience across backend, frontend, cloud, and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with distributed messaging (Kafka, Kinesis) and caching (Redis, ElastiCache).
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Background in media, entertainment, or fast-paced startup environments.
