Salary: $137,000 – $315,000

What you will do

• Lead the design, implementation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of backend software systems.
• Analyze and update system logic and technical documentation.
• Contribute to product roadmaps and translate requirements into technical tasks.
• Collaborate with sales engineering and operational teams to recommend customer solutions.
• Mentor junior team members and ensure technical standards are met.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience delivering technology solutions at scale.
• Proficiency in Java, Groovy, Ruby, and/or Python.
• Strong experience with Linux environments and backend development (RESTful APIs, SQL/NoSQL).
• Expertise in core compute, storage, and networking principles.
• Experience with virtualization, ITSM, and CI/CD pipelines (Maven, Gradle, Git).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Professional certifications such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or CompTIA Security+.
