Professional Learning Specialist (EdTech): Providing content-specific support, training, and guidance for the implementation of digital K–12 curriculum solutions with an accent on district-level collaboration and instructional best practices. Focus on delivering engaging professional development sessions and managing successful adoption strategies for the Kern High School District.

Location: Must reside in Bakersfield or the Central California region and work onsite in the district four days per week.

Salary: $65,972–$85,000 per year.

What you will do

• Deliver engaging in-person and virtual presentations to district leaders, administrators, and teachers.
• Develop and implement professional learning plans to support clients throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Collaborate with internal teams including Customer Service and Sales to ensure successful solution adoption.
• Maintain customer records and provide recommendations for next steps following training sessions.
• Model instructional best practices while supporting the implementation of core and blended learning programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience with blended/online learning.
• Current teaching certification or prior teaching experience is required.
• Must reside in Bakersfield or the Central California region and be available for daily travel within the district.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Zoom, and Teams.
• Strong project management, multi-tasking, and proactive problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Education or Educational Technology.
