What you will do

• Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of healthcare, medical readiness, and human performance research programs.
• Coordinate the adaptation and integration of AI, analytics, and data technologies to address specific operational healthcare needs.
• Translate domain requirements from clinical and scientific experts into actionable technical priorities and work plans.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of scientists, engineers, and data scientists to ensure alignment with program objectives.
• Identify and mitigate technical, schedule, and integration risks throughout the program lifecycle.
• Communicate technical progress, tradeoffs, and decisions to government customers and internal leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, health informatics, systems engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience managing complex, multidisciplinary scientific or technical programs.
• Demonstrated experience managing programs involving AI, analytics, or data integration in healthcare or operational settings.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a U.S. national security clearance.
• Experience managing large-scale federal research and development programs (e.g., DARPA, ARPA-H, DHA).
• Strong technical judgment and ability to translate complex domain problems into technical requirements.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline.
• Experience working directly with clinicians or operational medical personnel.
• Familiarity with physiological data, predictive analytics, or explainable AI.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Active-duty military experience.
