Associate Producer, Digital Video - CNBC

Location: Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, United States; hybrid work with a minimum of three office days per week

Salary: $65,000–$80,000 per year

What you will do

• Produce, script, shoot, and edit business news videos in collaboration with reporters, producers, and senior producers.
• Create reporter-led analysis, breaking news, daily reporting, and mid-form investigative or documentary-style content.
• Operate cinema and DSLR cameras in studio and field settings, including filming content with CNBC talent.
• Write accurate scripts, headlines, descriptions, voice-over copy, and platform metadata.
• Optimize video content for horizontal and vertical distribution across digital platforms.
• Deliver accurate, standards-compliant content on tight deadlines and incorporate editorial feedback.

Requirements

• At least one year of professional digital video production experience, including shooting, editing, lighting, and scripting.
• Proficiency with cinema cameras or DSLR systems and Adobe Premiere.
• Experience with scriptwriting or voice-over writing and familiarity with multimedia storytelling and online publishing systems.
• Strong knowledge of current events, business, financial, and technology news, including the American political system and broader business landscape.
• Ability to collaborate effectively, manage time, work under tight deadlines, lift and transport up to 40 pounds of production equipment, and work non-traditional hours or travel when needed.
• Portfolio or work samples are required.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and trends.
• Experience shooting with drones.
