Senior Associate- Reconciliations (Finance): Performing and supporting end-to-end reconciliation activities in a BPO/shared services environment with an accent on high-volume transactional accuracy and internal controls. Focus on investigating discrepancies, resolving breaks, and providing operational guidance to ensure compliance with client service level agreements.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Newark, NJ (Hybrid)

Salary: $32/hr - $37/hr USD

What you will do

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations for assigned client accounts and transaction streams.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation variances, breaks, and exceptions within agreed timelines.
• Maintain accurate reconciliation logs, exception trackers, and audit trails.
• Coordinate with internal Operations, Compliance, and Technology teams to resolve complex issues.
• Identify recurring error patterns and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Provide informal guidance and support knowledge sharing for junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in reconciliation, finance operations, or BPO environments.
• Strong understanding of reconciliation concepts, exception handling, and process controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with operational workflow tools.
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
