What you will do

• Design and own backend services for liquidity management, safeguarding, and investment workflows.
• Develop scalable platforms for cash positioning, funding optimization, and operational decision-making.
• Build data pipelines and analytical capabilities to improve visibility into cash flows and liquidity usage.
• Implement robust controls for limits, approvals, reconciliation, and auditability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Treasury, Finance, and Risk to design reliable APIs and data contracts.
• Participate in on-call rotations and maintain high service availability through observability and performance optimization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and operating backend systems in production.
• Strong programming experience in JVM languages (Kotlin, Java).
• Solid understanding of distributed systems fundamentals including concurrency, data consistency, and idempotency.
• Experience with REST/gRPC APIs and persistence layers using PostgreSQL or key-value stores.
• Proficiency with event-driven architectures and message brokers like Kafka.
• Must be based in Singapore.

• Experience in fintech, payments, treasury, or banking domains.
• Background in building systems requiring strong auditability, reconciliation, and financial correctness.
• Familiarity with cash flow analytics, forecasting, or operational dashboards.
