Blockchain Engineer (Web3)

Location: Remote-first work-from-home arrangement for candidates in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, or Taiwan

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for Web3 wallets and blockchain products.
• Build and optimize services for on-chain data acquisition, parsing, indexing, and analysis.
• Contribute across architecture design, coding, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Integrate blockchain technologies and on-chain features with blockchain engineers and cross-functional teams.
• Investigate product, blockchain interaction, and system stability issues, including emergency incidents during on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to deliver and improve product features.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of backend software development experience.
• Hands-on Web3, blockchain, or wallet development experience, including on-chain interactions, blockchain data structures, transaction flows, and smart contract integration.
• Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals and public-chain ecosystems such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.
• Availability for the stated remote arrangement in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, or Taiwan.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java and related backend frameworks.
• AI engineering experience, including LLM applications, model optimization, or agent workflow integration.
