TL;DR

Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid)

Salary: $33-43/hour

What you will do

  • Draft, format, and e-file legal pleadings and correspondence in State and Federal Courts.
  • Manage case calendars and docket critical deadlines to ensure timely filings.
  • Coordinate attorney travel, depositions, hearings, and conference calls.
  • Assist in trial preparation and overall document management and file organization.
  • Maintain high levels of professionalism and confidentiality while communicating with clients and court personnel.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a litigation legal assistant.
  • Experience with Washington state and federal court filings.
  • Solid understanding of civil litigation rules and calendar deadlines.
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience in insurance defense and/or personal injury law.
