What you will do

• Perform monthly and quarterly variance analysis to identify key drivers of fluctuations and summarize findings for management.
• Support the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts by analyzing trends and updating financial models.
• Collaborate with internal departments to research and resolve expense-related inquiries and improve financial understanding.
• Identify and support accruals by reviewing large or unusual transactions to ensure proper recording periods.
• Extract and analyze financial data using SAP and Excel to improve reporting processes and data accuracy.
• Participate in projects aimed at improving financial processes, reporting efficiency, and overall expense management.

Requirements

• BS in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5 years of experience in the insurance industry or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically intermediate to advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables).
• Experience with large-scale ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
