Salary: $82,300 - $220,000

What you will do

• Manage administrative duties, staffing, hiring, and performance reviews for a team of 10-20 engineers.
• Serve as the Lead Subject Matter Expert in embedded systems technology.
• Lead and mentor group members to build depth in technical expertise.
• Develop technology and capability roadmaps to align with customer strategic priorities.
• Oversee the full lifecycle development of embedded software for mission-critical and safety-critical systems.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5-7 years of experience in the design, development, and management of complex systems.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance
• Proven experience leading medium to large technical teams through the full software development lifecycle.
• Technical expertise in maturing embedded systems technologies for first-of-a-kind systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) hardware.
• Previous experience as a Technical Director, Task Leader, or Principal Investigator.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) for cost and schedule management.
• Experience contributing to technical and cost proposals.
