What you will do
- Own the definition, scope, and change control for software releases.
- Translate program milestones into concrete release targets and triage feature requests.
- Identify integration risks and define efficient validation strategies.
- Maintain traceability between requirements, implementation, and test coverage.
- Develop integration guidelines and accelerate the iterative development/test loop.
- Define and manage the OTA strategy, tooling, and factory deployment processes.
Requirements
- 7+ years in embedded firmware development with a focus on integration, validation, or release engineering.
- Hands-on proficiency in embedded C/C++.
- Experience with SIL (software-in-the-loop) and HIL (hardware-in-the-loop) test infrastructure.
- Proven experience managing firmware release cycles for shipped hardware products.
- Strong understanding of RTOS-based systems and embedded architecture.
- Ability to communicate effectively between engineering depth and program-level decisions.
Nice to have
- Domain experience in power electronics or energy conversion.
- Hardware debugging skills (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, JTAG).
- Familiarity with safety-critical firmware standards like IEC 61508 or UL1998.
- Background in CI/CD pipeline development or test automation.
- Experience with OTA update mechanisms and fleet management.
