TL;DR

Provider Directory Growth & Operations Lead (Healthtech): Managing and optimizing insurance-payer directories to turn them into scalable patient-acquisition channels with an accent on data accuracy and conversion funnel optimization. Focus on reconciling provider data across NPPES/CAQH and payers, improving search visibility, and instrumenting attribution in PostHog.

Location: Remote (Must have U.S. business-hours overlap for payer outreach)

What you will do

  • Own provider-directory accuracy and growth metrics across all contracted payers and networks.
  • Build and maintain a source of truth for provider data including NPIs, licenses, and specialties.
  • Audit directories from a patient perspective to ensure accurate and actionable search results.
  • Submit and track corrections via payer portals, APIs, or rosters until they are live.
  • Create UTM-tagged links and partner with Growth/Engineering to optimize landing pages and scheduling flows.
  • Instrument and analyze the directory funnel using PostHog to build weekly performance and revenue reports.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in provider-data management, payer operations, or healthcare data quality.
  • Experience with Availity, CAQH, NPPES, or similar payer-specific portals.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel (XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data normalization).
  • Basic comfort with SQL, APIs, JSON, or no-code automation tools.
  • Experience with UTM conventions and product analytics tools like PostHog.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication for payer outreach.

Nice to have

  • Deep familiarity with the Texas payer landscape.
  • Experience with multi-state telehealth networks or provider-data governance at scale.
