What you will do

• Optimize pricing models to reduce infrastructure costs while improving accuracy for high-value assets.
• Iterate on underwriting models to maximize cash advance disbursements while managing risk thresholds.
• Lead the full ML lifecycle, including training, feature generation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with domain experts to inform model improvements and validate predictive power.
• Design and execute experiments and backtesting to discover new features.
• Own production model-serving infrastructure on AWS, ensuring scalability and low latency.

Requirements

• 7+ years of engineering experience, with 5+ years building and shipping production ML/AI models.
• Deep proficiency in production-grade Python and SQL, including custom feature-engineering pipelines.
• Experience training and validating gradient-boosted or ensemble estimators with segment-specific tuning.
• Experience leveraging LLMs and foundation models in production environments.
• Experience with MLflow or comparable experiment tracking and model registry tools.
• Must be comfortable owning production model-serving infrastructure on AWS, including capacity planning and auto-scaling.

Nice to have

• Experience with real-time or low-latency model serving at scale.
• Previous startup experience in a fast-moving environment.
• Knowledge of trading cards, collectibles, or hirify.globalernative asset markets.
