What you will do

• Build and optimize batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Extract, analyze, and model diverse structured and unstructured datasets.
• Design testable, maintainable, and scalable data processing software.
• Apply machine learning techniques such as anomaly detection, clustering, and regression to extract value from datasets.
• Integrate AI-powered development tools (e.g., Cursor) to accelerate development and refactoring.
• Collaborate on setting the overall data strategy and vision.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Python.
• Experience ensuring reliability, scalability, and observability of production data pipelines.
• Fundamental knowledge of ETL/ELT, DWH, Data Lakes, and distributed processing.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and software engineering practices.
• Familiarity with Python, PySpark, Pandas, SQL (PostgreSQL), ElasticSearch, Airflow, and AWS.
• Must be based in the United States (indicated by US health insurance and 401K benefits).

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools like Cursor, Co-Pilot, or Codex.
• Track record of using AI IDEs for scaffolding components and refactoring legacy codebases.
