• Define and maintain data governance standards, including access controls and data lineage.
• Lead the technical evolution of the data platform toward an AI-first infrastructure.
• Design and scale end-to-end data pipelines from ingestion to delivery.
• Optimize platform performance and ensure data quality through SLA-based monitoring.
• Champion AI-assisted development workflows to accelerate team productivity.
• Mentor data engineers and analysts to raise the technical bar across the organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on production pipelines.
• Strong experience with AWS data services in a production environment.
• Hands-on experience managing cloud data warehouses like Snowflake.
• Strong Python skills for building complex data pipelines.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with data lakehouse architectures (Apache Iceberg or Delta Lake).
• Experience with dbt-core in a production repository.
• Background in fintech or highly regulated industries.
• Experience building infrastructure to support AI-driven data access.
