What you will do

• Develop air springs and sub-components in alignment with customer and internal requirements.
• Create and detail component and assembly drawings using GD&T.
• Prepare internal and customer product specifications and present DFMEA results.
• Verify customer and supplier requirements against internal specifications.
• Maintain engineering schedules and coordinate milestones with other disciplines.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or higher degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Sophomore standing or higher at the time of internship start.
• Ability to work on-site in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
• Fluent English (Speaking and Writing).
• Knowledge of vehicle dynamics, suspension geometries, and mechanical component design for strength and durability.
