What you will do

• Collect and analyze gear dimensions to make necessary machine adjustments in production.
• Perform metallurgical and chemical analysis of materials to understand component failures and production effects.
• Assemble, test, and analyze prototype axles and driveshafts for lab and vehicle testing.
• Act as a liaison between vehicle manufacturers and internal engineering departments to determine correct product applications.
• Collaborate with CAD and Product Engineering to develop new part designs based on vehicle needs.
• Create safety documentation and assist in the implementation of 5S methodology.

Requirements

• Enrollment in an Engineering program is required.
• Proven work experience (technical or non-technical).
• Computer proficiency in Windows environment and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work onsite in Gordonsville, TN, US.
