What you will do

• Lead advanced engine technology projects focused on Spark Ignition systems and emissions reduction.
• Design and execute test plans for combustion, fuel, boost, and aftertreatment systems.
• Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams including design, calibration, and controls engineers.
• Manage project deliverables, timing, and budgets for complex engineering initiatives.
• Analyze experimental test bench data to communicate results to management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with suppliers and development partners to advance engine component designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of professional experience in spark ignition engine development, architecture, or calibration.
• Strong understanding of engine theory, emissions, and subsystem design.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and provide technical direction.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for unusual and difficult engineering challenges.
• Ability to present technical information clearly to diverse audiences.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering.
• DFSS Green Belt certification or higher.
• Experience in hybrid propulsion system architectures.
