Project Engineer II - DRE (Automotive)

What you will do

• Plan and formulate workflows to meet specified deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Lead technical studies, write specifications, and establish technical plans for project phases.
• Execute system engineering tasks including architecture design, resolving constraints, and establishing interfaces.
• Manage DFMEAs, DVPRs, and BOM input while coordinating with other skill teams.
• Handle supplier negotiations, lead-time planning, and change management.
• Drive the release and sign-off process to ensure all deliverables meet the project timing plan.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 3-5+ years of experience in stationary energy storage system design.
• Deep knowledge of at least one area of stationary energy storage systems.
• Ability to lead system engineering processes (P-diagrams, boundary diagrams, DFMEAs, DVP&R).
• Full-time authorization to work in the USA (no visa sponsorship available).
• Strong communication and presentation skills for effective customer interfacing.

Nice to have

• CAD skills, preferably in Siemens NX.
• Good understanding of CAE tools and practices.
• Familiarity with quality management tools.
